Camera Gear: What should I bring?

It's funny, I can pack clothes for 3 weeks on the road in about 10 minutes.  But when it comes to packing my camera gear for a trip, it sometimes takes 10 hours as I figure out, "what do I really want to take with me?"

But then when I'm packing for a road trip in the Golf, all of the sudden I'm packing everything and the kitchen sink. Here's what I "think" I'm going to take, the list may grow larger, or it might be less.  It just matters how much gear I can pack into my camera bags.

Lens from the top left to right:
Canon RF 100-400 F5.6-8 IS USM
Rokinon EF 24mm F1.4 (Manual Focus)
Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM
Canon EF 16-35mm F4L USM + Mount Adapter EF-EOS R
Canon EF 70-200mm F4L IS II USM

Cameras + Lens left to right:
Canon 7D + EF-S 15-85mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM
Canon Rebel 2000 (35mm film) + EF 50mm F1.8 STM
Canon R6 + 24-105mm F4L USM

And not in the picture, 2 tripods, a laptop, camera batteries plus charger, cables, SSD storage drives, SD and CF cards, SD/CF Card Reader, 35mm film and whatever else I forgot to mention.

Oh, and this isn't all my camera gear.  Right now, I'm leaving behind my Olympus E-M5 MkII plus it's lens and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10 Point n Shoot camera. I changed my mind, the Panasonic PnS is going in the bag. 🤣
